Paperless policy with inSign
Freising, October 2014 – vers.diagnose signs with inSign. With versdiagnose GmbH, iS2 AG has gained another prominent partner for the paperless inSign application process. With vers.diagnose, the company provides the first internet-based platform on which brokers can clarify – at the beginning of the consultation – whether and under which conditions their client will receive occupational disability insurance or term life insurance – and this in parallel with several life insurers. No entry is made in the Insurance Industry Information System (HIS). The advantages for intermediaries are obvious: They immediately receive binding decisions from the insurers involved, only have to answer health questions once, can advise the customer in a results-oriented manner, save time and are relieved of administrative burdens through automated documentation.
This puts an end to the wait for pre-enquiry results. vers.diagnose is a joint project of the insurance analysts Franke und Bornberg, as well as Munich Re.

Paperless policy with inSign

Thanks to inSign, vers.diagnose will do even more in the future: By the end of the year, the entire application process will be digitalised. Via the so-called “setOrder process”, all data can then be delivered to the insurer in a paperless and legally secure manner. If desired, the customer can sign the application electronically on all common mobile devices such as tablets or smartphones. The binding signature is also possible on a time-delayed basis or as part of an online consultation.

Katrin Bornberg, Managing Director of versdiagnose GmbH, chose inSign for a good reason: “With inSign, Intelligent Solution Services AG offers us an established system for legally secure electronic signatures. In numerous discussions, we were able to ascertain beyond any doubt that inSign is already well-known among life insurers and also enjoys a high level of acceptance in the market. And what’s more, the chemistry is right; at iS2, we meet partners who are as accomplished as they are pleasant.”

Good market penetration

In the meantime, ten life insurers have now deposited their rulebooks for risk assessment with vers.diagnose, and about 7,500 advisors are registered on the platform. Renowned broker pools are also increasingly making use of this intelligent offer. iS2 CEO Stephan Hämmerl sees the new cooperation as another important milestone for the electronic signature: “Thanks to the cooperation with vers.diagnose, inSign is available to the market with another important partner. This is all the more important because, in my opinion, vers.diagnose will become the standard tool for brokers when it comes to occupational disability insurance.”
